Why did Alice come to us?

Alice was referred to us by an existing client.  She had inherited a significant size investment portfolio from her mothers estate which was handled by a high street bank.

Alice had been in business for years and because of this had created a careful but comfortably lifestyle.  Her inherited wealth gave her the chance to be a little more extravangant but came with fears due to the size of the investment, a lack of confidence.

Sadly in a very short space of time she had 2 or 3 different people from the bank review her plans.  Her concern here was that there was no consistency or personal service and the investment charges seemed quite expensive.

How did we help?

When we initially looked at her situation it was very clear that Alice could have a very comfortable lifestyle, but she had a fear of overspending her capital and running out of money later in life when she felt she may need it most.

We regularly met and gradually helped Alice understand that through careful planning and regular reviews she wasn’t going to run out of money.  To help with this we quickly rearranged her finances and helped reduce the running costs of the investments.

Through Prophecy she was able to visualise how she could have a greatly improved lifestyle, with regular reviews she has the confidence and knowledge about her finances.  So now she can regularly visit in Australia, indulge in her passion for history through travel and exploration.
